A popular trend over the past year or so has been using cityscapes,  landscapes and skylines in website design. It can take many forms, either being in the header or footer and sometimes its silhouetted in the background or right in the middle of all the action.  Usually these scenes are more illustrated than actual imagery but its a great way to show creativity and set your self apart from the competition.
